Customer service seems to have completely vanished from larger retailers and it's one of the reasons I decided to open My Pampered Life in downtown Sumner, WA just 2 years ago. As we come upon our 2nd birthday in business, through some pretty rough patches, I'm excited to share with you some of my new favorites in the store and give you a peek inside my buying process!
One of the things I love hearing from our customers is that we are different and have incredible offerings. I especially love the latest call I received from Janet in Ohio... she told me that she's never seen a curation of items that were so amazing and she LOVES our clothing and decor. It takes a lot of work to pour through the 100's of manufacturers to find just the right look and feel for our demographic which is mostly 35 and up.
I swore this year I'd give up on the shacket love, but guess what?! I can't because you all keep buying it lol! Here is one of my absolute new favorites that is a split look of 2 different plaids and color combos.
I have to say in 2022 shades of brown and khaki have been a consistent color for sales all year. Who could resist the soft and warm color combinations that remind us of fallen leaves?
As we come upon the holiday season, our buying looks at classic dresses that can be worn for many occasions including the holiday. I focus on black and white combos that work for a lot of body types as well as jeweled tones that set you apart at any holiday party. This is one of my favorites for the season and can be paired with black tights to stay a little warmer!
With the cold front upon us, sweaters are a go to for the Pacific Northwest and though it may not be puffer coat weather, it's definitely time to snuggle up in a long cardigan that can take you from dinner to the game! Pink is our signature color and also one that is romantic, and a gorgeous tone for many skin tones. This color block cardigan is one of our favorites for a Birthday or Christmas gift!
We also have seen an uptick in sales for animal prints of all kinds. The biggest seller though is leopard! I try to find new and unusual items in these prints that will wow our customers and keep them coming back for more. Here are 3 new items that all scream leopard and are soo classy!
